WHO ARE WE?
In 1971 we started using Artex Force 8 paint in the UK and at that time the only company to exclusively offer that product, moving on we took on small building works in the South East of England and beginning to grow by taking on overseeing council contracts for Tunbridge Wells and Reigate and Banstead Council later including work for Brighton Marina and Shoreham Port Authority, a large resovoir in the West of Netherlands for Yara.
We built our first underground shelter in Kent in 1979, we still offer them as houses, wine cellars, safe rooms, storerooms and in Portugal for Olive oil storage, now they are built as our swimming pools are with giant 'Lego' blocks making them pretty much 'bomb proof', with 80 centimetre thick walls and a reinforced roof. These shelters are something that not many know about because there are no laws governing them being underground in many countries, there are rules and regulations but to 'provide' an underground structure there is not, rather like cave houses in Andalucia in Spain but they are cool in hot summers and warm in winter.
In 1988 still with an association with Artex at Newhaven we introduced it to Spain and soon opened an office in the South of Portugal, at that time it was illegal to paint your property any other colour than white and Force 8 paint was 'whiter than white' so our work showed up better than other paints on the market.
However with a need for quality builders in Portugal we soon took on more staff and started with swimming pools and house building which continued for many years, some villas running in to millions of euros which was very satisfying work for all concerned.
In 2002 we joined Marshalls PLC and imported, installed and distributed their range of block and garden paving in Spain and Portugal, working with professional people at their offices was indeed a great pleasure and the quality of the products was second to none and at one time we were bringing 7 truck loads a week from their factory in the UK.
Throughout the time we have been installers of Paula Rosa kitchens and Electrolux appliances which we recommend to anyone looking for quality in their kitchen, when working with professionals your work becomes so much easier and the stress of trying to make things work when they simply do not just adds to stress shown to our clients.
So after 56 years we are still here, still striving to give the best quality to anyone who wishes it. If you are seriously interested in any of our products then contact us, we prefer to have all our conversation in writing so that both our client and us have a record of everything said by both parties, of course we will speak to anyone by telephone or in a face to face meeting but when it comes to what we are supplying it is better in writing.
Lastly we would ask you to avoid buying any Chinese made goods, the quality was very good when the first things were imported but for many years the quality has been so low that any item seems to last only 3-4 months. We do not use any Chinese made goods in our work or any tools made in China, all is purchased in Europe, Brexit has happened but we are open minded and borders will always be open, they were before we joined so they will still always be open.
